Howdy. My name is Henry or more commonly Hank DeArruda-Weaver. I am a freelance cinematographer based out of Mammoth Lakes, CA. I love the visual world and wild goose chases. I have experience in shooting action sports (snowboarding, cycling, motocross, ultra running, etc.), real estate, television production, commercial lifestyle and narrative pieces. I have worked with Jones Snowboards, Adidas, Kinco Gloves, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, 686, CBS, HBO, BBC, Mammoth Film Festival, ARMA Sport, Rocky Talkie, SPY Optics, Firestone Walker 805, Entity of Delight Wines, Demetria Vineyards and Bassi Vineyards.

I started my adventure in film shooting mountain biking and outdoor recreation in the Northern rural town of Grand Marais, Minnesota where I was born and raised. From there, I moved out to the Oregon Coast to work for the U.S. Forest Service as a wildland firefighter. Two fire seasons later, I found myself in the Eastern Sierra where I rooted and further developed my career in film. I find that while film has taken me to some wild places, I never stray far from my working class, blue-collar roots.
